Back on the stick should be up. The default setting was down. Backwards.
But I found it anyway.

No the default was push forward was up and pull back was down. I may have explained it poorly.
Anyway all good now.
As he already said, no the default is backwards to proper flight control. I had the same issue, but found the setting without a problem to change it.
My problem is however that I can't have the gamepad inverted while leaving the mouse non-inverted for flight. Sometimes I want to quickly use the mouse for flight. I tried the guide listed for doing this using Durazno, but it didnt work for me.
I'll change mine tonight.
One more thing!!
Can you set your ship to roll instead of pan?
When turning, I would much rather the ship go into a roll (realistically), than pan around?
Imagine bumping a 3 year old thread just to say that. Sad.
