Hermetic Seal!!!

I'm stranded in the middle of nowhere and can't seem to get the Hermetic Seal, already use the signal booster but nothing is showing.

Ahh, the good old hermetic seal issue! Have you repaired other parts of your ship available to you? If so, then you should be able to get a signal from either your ship or something to a location that you need to do the walk to...

...

And once you're there, you'll be able to get info for the blueprint. They require 30 condensed carbon to make.

I have loads of stuff to repair but i don't really know how to obtain them all, it's a lot of repairs

If I may pop in to offer another idea: I found myself, not Stranded, but on a planet with no resources to create the Hermetic Seal. I simply traversed the world a little longer and ran into an Outpost that had a Trading Terminal in it (round ball eye terminal thing in the wall) - there, I was able to simply purchase a Hermetic Seal (even though I still don't know how to create one myself). I was able to finish what I was doing, at any rate. Perhaps this can happen to you, too. GL

Have you made and fitted the metal plate for the engine part that needs the hermetic seal ? .I thought my quest was bugged too, but soon as I made and placed the plate on the engine it popped up the marker for the seal part of the repair quest. Lots of quess work that way, can be frustrating till you randomly do something and it moves on.

So yea i just follow the main quest an eventually manage to make the seals and other stuff now, i've got a good understanding on how the game works now. Thanks for the help guys
