My boltcaster won't reload

I have 1000 rounds in my suit inventory. I switch to boltcaster mode, hit R to reload, a bar starts to fill up, but it aborts 10% in and the damned thing won't reload? Anybody know what's up with this?

Reloading can be canceled by sprinting, etc. Does it reload when you're standing still/not taking damage, etc.?

Try just reloading manualy in the inventory.

tap x (controller) or whatever key for keyboard, do not hold down.

Maybe your gun jammed. Weapon degredation confirmed. No dont give the devs ideas. Do not iclude degredation into this game. Please no.

Yeah I got it working. The tap worked. Didn't work at first, but once I ran away and got some distance, it started reloading normally after that.

The tap worked for me, too. That should not be that hard.

Ground combat isn't really an exceptional feature of this game. At least not after just a few hours in anyway.

The issue is that holding the reload button holsters your gun for some reason. If your gun is holstered you also can't reload, you need to bring it out by trying to fire or toggling modes before tapping R.
