Never ending Storm

I found a desert planet in a yellow star system, which is a death trap beyond belief.

When I landed at night the air was very cold, lowering my cold protection by two arrows without a storm. As I walked towards my quest marker a storm hits, so I walk for a bit until the heat gets unbearable and I dig a cave to hide in.

A few minutes go by and the storm hasn't let up yet, so I test the air and my visor says I'll start taking damage in 13 seconds. No good, so I go back to the cave and keep waiting it out. Another couple minutes go by before the storm finally starts "clearing".

So I wait until the outside temp becomes more bearable, when I get an incoming storm warning. The temperature hadn't even stabilized before another storm hit. So I wait out this one and determined this planet has storms that last about 5 minutes with around 15 to 30 seconds between storms. On top of being incredibly cold at night.

Needless to say I named this planet "Icy Hot Hell". And once I get my quest target I don't ever plan on returning to it! Just thought I'd share this little story with everyone. Happy exploring!
