Most important items
So, for those playing for some time now, what are the items you consider so important and rare that if we find any, we should never sell em? :P

Not really aware of anything that is irreplaceable. There are some rare things that are hard to find or expensive to replace.

S class anything(ship, tool, freighter), unless you find a better S class to replace it. Exotic ships, assuming you like them...for me they have too few slots- more of the little red sportscar rational for having one.

So it's possible to just make lot of cash and replace everything rare by buying if you're stuck?
I shouldn't bother keeping ressources and just fill my slots with stuff to sell and make as much money as possible?

atlas stones, VERY expencive to buy, you need 30 or somthing , cant remember, But dont buy them you will be given them, so save them , they are worthless to sell and cost millions to buy.

i dont think its 30 you need , but it will cos like 30 mill to buy them all, i think upwards of 2-4 mill each , and they only sell for like 30k each, its been a while, so save em just incase. thing might have changed and there may even be a use for them now, not sure yet, but you need em for the story anyway.

As you progress in the game, and start farming, there are some resources that will allow you to craft subset items that combine to make more complex items that sell for more money.

None of these items are particularly hard to find or create, so no reason to stock them now unless you know why you are holding on to them.

Not a bad idea to get the 10 containers at your base- and store things that seem to useful. Gek and Vykeen artifacts, Minerals, etc. I always keep my pantry(containers) pretty full of stuff that might be useful.

They have changed so much, it is hard to tell what will be useful in the new universe.

I think it's 1 container per base now no? but since we can have multiple bases now, it's smart to put some on special planet..

like i had a planet where i could loot navigation coordinates on the ground 6-7 at time lol... Or on my current planet, i can find ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of vortex cube and tetracobalt without any efforts... it wortht o put a base there so i can teleport and farm those on need super quickly without boterhing to search another planet with them

Its still 10 storage in 1 base, but only 1 of the number 1ns and 2s etc.

Maybe I'm just being dumb, but what is the main advantage between A Rank & S rank items?

I've seen A rank items that were better than S rank items.

Yeah i seen a A and a S with pretty much same price, same storage and techs lol.. not sure... cuz the S rank wasn't looking less awful! XD

The main difference between A and S rank is in the minimum-maximum range for each of the 'innate' stats of that type of item.

For example, Fighter ships have a strong innate bonus to Damage, and a medium bonus to Shield strength. Those values are random within a range, so, in the case of A and S rank for example (using made up numbers) lets say that A can have the damage bonus between 30 and 50, and S rank can have the damage bonus between 40 and 80. So, a top rolled A rank can be better than a bad rolled S rank, but it doesn't compare to a top rolled S rank.

I hope that makes sense.

For multi-tools it's kinda the same, except rifles ALWAYS have lower innate stats than even the worst rolls on other tool types, even at S rank, and it's bonus is that it gets a lot of bonus slots (but still up to 24 max), so its easier to find a 24 slot rifle of any rank, but it'll be pretty crappy in terms of stats compared to a 24 slot alien / experimental tool.
