How do I access my ship collection?
I'm new to the game, I have three ships but one that I'm trying to summon that has a lot of inventory on it cant be summoned cause it has no launch thruster fuel or whatever, how do I access it to be able to recharge it?

After about 3 warps out, you will get a random mission to assist in a space battle, after you kill the easy to kill ships you will get a freighter, and that is where your extra ships will be stored. If you already have these ships and don't have the freighter its possible they might not be on there, but cross your fingers. At least after that point each ship you get will show up there.

Same for me. I already had the freighter but I “lost” my main spaceship when I decided to get another one and add it to my collection...
Any ideas how to find it back ? (I can’t click on the Spaceship Collection icon)

When I found my first distress signal and subsequent "free" second ship, it despawned my primary when I moved a bit away from the site. I couldn't recall it and it wasn't on my freighter anywhere. However, when I teleported from my base to a local space station, it had randomly switched me to it. Not sure how or why, but wanted to share my experience to let you know it may be a way to spawn it.

I found that even if I log out and back in again so long as they have fuel I can just summon them even if they've disappeared. This appears to work across systems as well. I haven't picked up a freighter yet myself but have collected 2 fighters and two shuttles so far from trading up and distress signals.

In the quick menu (in my xbox pad is the down arrow key, dont know the keyboard key for that) select "summon vehicle", "select other ship", and there is my previous ship :) (radiant pillar bc1). Tested and working :).
Cheers my galactic unknown friends.

That's interesting. Cos I have one stored ship, but have no Freighter... so where is that one stored ship? It just stays hidden until I get a Freighter or is it just gone?

people who bought early access where suppose to be able to start with that early access ship when you where at crash sight when you start a new game there was option to swap out the crashed ship for your early access ship and you would have to repair it and so forth just like random ship gives you.

if you turn off tutorials you don't get that Freight mission.
cuz I truned them off and launch from five diff planets and got no quest for it.

so that seems to be tied to the starting missions as stated you can turn off.

but there is option somewhere where you could swap out the starting ship with your early access ship as your crash-landed ship and you could do this with anyship that was in your collection thing is what ever ship you start with that would then be tied and you would lose access to other ships you at the start.

I was kind curies about this so I started a new game with the starting missions turned off I couldn't figure out how to get that early access ship to swap at the start.
so seems like something got changed as of at least 2/17/24

you dont need freighter I just found it its under the options menu, hidden now but its there you go to options and redeem and it swap out ships at the start of new game with out the freighter.
