well if you can it'd be the same way as a walk around player, and considering warp puts you in 3rd person if its not available now i'd hazard a guess it might be later.

yes. Hit X for your options, then i believe it's Q until you go to settings. Hit select and move over to toggle view. Hit select and you're golden.

D-pad down (X with keyboard) > utilities > a command to the right.

If you are in a ship. Same for character model.

Set a shortcut say button 2 to toggle third person off and on at the press of a single button.

Shortcuts can be set for photo mode, pets, spaceship selection, weapon rotation all sorts and even emotes from the Quick Menu. YOu can also download plenty of player made configurations for your PC controller in Steam Configurations with shortcuts and useful layouts already to try, I like the Photo Genius! layout :D
