Warp your friends on your freighter?
Is this supposed to be possible? A friend and I just tried it. We were both on my freighter and I warped it to a neighboring system. We both made it into the system together, but he vanished from my side in a flash. Appeared nearby on the local station, with no inventory. Chat said death by cosmic ray bombardment...

Is this a bug? Are multiple players supposed to be able to warp together on a freighter? I would think so since you can dock together on the ship. It doesn't seem to make sense that we could both successfully make it into the destination system unless it's intentional. So why die?

It's really not, it happened to me yesterday.

Parked my ship on my friend's freighter, went up onto the bridge for warp and then as soon as the warp animation was over and we arrived in the new system I fell through the floor, burned for a few seconds and died of cosmic radiation.

I respawned at the nearest space station but my grave said it was back on my friend's freighter. Turns out it wasn't there on the bridge, it was floating in space inside where the freighter was parked so he had to move it before I could grab my stuff.

TLDR: Don't try it, you'll die. Just warp in your own ship.

Happened last night to me and my friend while trying to warp on a different friend's ship. We all warped, but we both died after the warp by falling in space. We both appeared on a nearby space station, except I didn't have anything in my personal inventor, and my ship was gone.
My friend's ship was in the hanger, though, so he was able to go out and loot his grave marker. I had to reload into my personal game and then back into my friend's game just to get my ship to show up. I never recovered my inventory.

If you're still having issues (I haven't tried it except the one time), make sure to submit bug reports so HG knows this hasn't actually been fixed.
