Upgrading your gear so your grind is less

some soluations.
All solutions to a bad core game design. The balance in this game is shockingly bad.
I'm not grinding for money. I found a freighter with 44 slots, so bought it for 0.
The number of broken slots is ridiculous to fix, with overly ridiculous requirements to grind to fix.
Found an exosuit pod. Had to fix it with three ridiculous grind mechanics.
It's terrible game design. Cut the amounts/time by 50% at least. Just terrible balance for people who play games for enjoyment.
All good solutions to a problem specific to you and not the game itself.
Like it or not, Steam active player base chart is part of marketing and potential future game contracts for developers. Cutting the games shelf life is pretty much shooting yourself in the foot
That's you opinion. A lot of people like it. If you don't, why the hell are you playing it?! Heck you could play the game without ever using your mining laser and never leaving the initial planet... What the hell are you choosing to grind for and then complaining about it?
Then go play ED... smh
ahahah...that's my point exactly. It's a terribly implemented mechanic to extend the game artificially by imposing a horrible UX through a badly balanced grind mechanic.
I'm saying the balance is off. It's too grindy. Just ridiculous in the amounts and time needed.
Make it faster, make the loop tighter. It's just a painful grind at the moment, and injects a terribly negative element into an otherwise potentially great experience. Terrible design decisions.
/facepalm
