Exocraft mounted cannon and mining laser are worse than handheld?
So, it's the first time I've gotten an exocraft. I have the starter exocraft (Roamer) now, and have both the mounted cannon and mining laser installed on it.

Both are TERRIBLE! The "powerful" cannon does maybe a quarter of my bolt caster (no upgrades). The mining laser can't cut into rocks that say they need advanced mining laser, and takes 4 or more times longer than my handheld (only handheld upgrade is advanced mining laser).

Please tell me the bigger "better" exocraft have more power behind them? Please?

Perhaps there is minig upgrades for them?

I found that even with the laser upgrade, it's pure crap for anything other than deposit veins. The "upgrade" says it adds 5000% damage, but I still haven't figured out what it actually applies to. Seems to do the same pathetic damage to sentinels and minerals/flora as it did before upgrading. I will say that the exovraft laser is BOSS for mining deposits though, because it just takes carbon to charge unlike the terrain manipulator which takes ferrite.

I can imagine that there are mining upgrades. However, we're talking about *unupgraded* bolt caster and barely upgraded handheld mining laser.

Both literally do 8 damage per shot. I just double checked. It took me probably 30-45 seconds to take down a hostile plant vs less than 5 with my handheld mining laser.

Further, the damage is so crap, that it cost me MORE carbon to destroy a tree than I *got* from the tree.

EDIT: Just used the mining laser on a copper deposit. It's incredible for deposits! Took maybe a second to clear 75% of the deposit!
