Rare Metal Element
Hi,

I have this Geology Cannon blueprint that requires a "Rare Metal Element". I've looked at the Galactic Trad computer and interacted with quite a few ships, but found nothing of the sort. Nothing on google either. Where can I find one?

I picked up a few from opening red boxes. Not sure if it is a craftable, it might be if you find the blueprint or gain access to the advanced refinery

For future reference, I have found some minable in the wild:

These also contained some Carbon Crystals and Superoxide Crystals.

Edit: and Destabilized Sodium

I found one in some strange round rare plants on a toxic planet. Same plant also had unstable sodium and some other stuff.

Did not look anything like that where i found it. Looked like big green eggs.

Another patch of those crystals also held some "Tetracobalt" and "Chloride Lattice". Also, to find them easier, they are shown as yellow chevrons with a roman 1 on the compass at the top of the screen.

You can get the recipe for rare earth element from the manufacturing/operations facilities. Just set up a signal booster and scan for secure frequencies. Might take a while to get through all the other recipes though.

I'm using an old save and I have V1,2, and 3. All from abandoned manufacturing plants except for the V1 which polo gives you.
