Well technically you could ofc....
Black holes can help reduce that trip, but as it's random, one time a BH will shorten the trip by 500ly maybe an other may reduce it 1200ly (numbers not accurate, serves as examples)
And still... there are ways to go through an other Galaxy in... 1 jump (If mechanic from before NEXT did not change... I have yet to do it myself in NEXT)
Make sure you know what you do and you really wish to do so when going through a Galaxy center... some regretted this decision, some made it very intentionally with reasons.
I'll not spoil more, you can search if you wish, but as you may be unwilling to be spoiled, I'll not make that call for you
You can buy a ships with the tech already installed. That's what I did.
Sometimes the scan list is different than if you land on the planet and look at the list under the discoveries page. I've never failed to find Emeril in a green star system.
Uh? What?
EVERY SINGLE planet in a Green system has Emeril.
It's literally impossible to not find it on any planet in a single green system.
It's like saying you can't find copper in 50 yellow systems when they are so common it's not even funny?
IT literally shows emeril on the planet when you scan it from space.
It cannot be missed.
The planet's surface when in your visor will show emeril as an option.
It's a giant green resource node you mine up with the Terrain Manipulator.
It literally is impossible to not find Emeril in 50 Green systems.
Please show up a scan of a planet in a green system.
PLease also show us a scan of the star in said system.
Show us multiple different things to prove you were in a green system.
Your problem simply cannot happen in this game.
Not without some major bug.
The other useful thing in the Discoveries page you can filter lists for clarity to show only the green systems, red systems, blue systems, gek, korvax, v'ykeen. You can then set waypoints or use a teleport to return to all your green stars you may have visited on your journey.
Has anyone ever heard of this issue before?
M and K stars = Cadmium
F and G stars = Copper
E stars = Emeril
O and B stars = Indium
If you know any thing about real universe spectral classes you know there is no such thing as an E spectral class star.
There are stars that emit most strongly in the green range of the spectrum but since they also radiate nearly as strongly in the red and blue end of he spectrum they appear white to human eyes.
As for color blindness, there are settings that can be adjusted to allow for color correction.
I never even realized he could have been color-blind.
My bad.
You'd think he'd explain that though. I mean, wouldn't that be a big issue?
I hope he comes back to explain what his problem was.
I completely forgot that yellow/green colorblindness was a thing.
I wonder if Alma will ever come back to explain his problem.
I hope he does.
Red/Green color blind people (the most common form is Deuteranopia which means a complete lack of green cones in the retina. Our 4 legged friends are dichromatic and have no green cones as a species) can make out yellow and blue clearly (green and red kind of smear into yellow). This is the reason that I only buy blue and yellow colored toys for my service dog and his favorite ball is a bright yellow color.
