Where do I find Chlorine?
There seems to be no info online about this element.

I found a Class A hauler crashed on a planet and its been hours since I've been trying to get it up and running. So far, Chlorine and platinum are problems. But at least for Plat, i can just buy them randomly on stations or NPCs.

IIRC, you put salt in a refinery. I've had good luck getting salt from frozen planets.

Chlorine is also for sale, but rarely.

For platinum, if you have a ship that flies at all, the easiest way is to exit atmosphere and mine asteroids for Tritium, which can then be refined for Platinum.

Also, Protein, thanks for the frozen planet tip.

Now I just have to find a frozen planet.

I've found Chlorine on planets, inside ... things. Platinum also, but inside things in caves.

Hes trying to repair a hauler, while its not nice to assume, I believe he would be freighter-less, or wouldnt bother fixing a crashed ship due to the inventory slot unlocks (unless hes doing the, im going to repair it and trade it in at a space station for a fully functioning non locked inv ship for free). So I highly doubt he can leave the planet.

Traders will have it as stated. And ice planets. Salt may be refined into it, im not 100% sure.

and this, make sure to scan anything you harvest. ANYTHING. The secondary elements dont come fast but if you need less than 500 or so it can be worth it.

chlorine can be found on toxic planets as primary elements. Huge deformed stone/rock thingies. Or just farm salt (also on toxic planets often as primary elements) and refine it to chlorine

Tritium refines to platinum??!?!??!?!?

O.o

Jesus, what a time saver that would have been to have known sooner, lol

I found a planet (I made a base on it as fast as I could) that had these big bulb looking things that the main component in them was chlorine. It's radiation planet. So you might look for a rad planet. Huge money maker.

If you refine salt with oxygen, in a big refiner on your freighter, you get a lot more chlorine.

Then you can refine dhlorine with more oxygen to get 1:4 chlorine.

tritium refines to dihydrogen unless theres secondary or tertiary elements you refined with it.
