they havent, doing a new permadeath and found a couple ships tonight, so keep hope.
hmm.. gonna have to check this one out :) thank you
You will find crashes ships trust me....you are welcome!
wouldnt that depend on what you have the 1 key set up as a keybind for?
hi lexx
the 1 key is "target next ship" mostly used for space battles. but if there is a ship anywhere within your long range (including crashed ship) it will target it. #2 key deselects targeted ship.
you can also use your close range ship radar (viewed in the center console of the ship) to look for blips. red blips are either enemy craft or crashed ships (color may have changed with next) blue blips are friendlies.
@op.. if you fly around and keep an eye out on your center console you will eventually find crashed ships.
all the best.
edit: and i have found crashed ships with the distress signal since next release.
just goes to show... 1200 hours in and never bothered to learn those targetting keys.. thank you :)
I found several crashed ships so far... along with an empty sites but I just thought it was my old starter ship crash site.
But the ships are less worthwhile now... Best to find a high value one then trade it for a repaired one.
