Antimatter Housing

So i'm on a quest where i need to craft hyperdrive which requires antimatter housing and antimatter, but i can't craft nor see the blueprint of antimatter housing in my crafting tab. it is some kind of bug or i need to find the blueprint first?

If you have learned the recipe for hyperdrive fuel then you should also have the recipe for antimatter housing. Don't forget that there are arrows to go through the recipes if you have selected all recipes. It should be anywhere there.

Yeah i have the fuel already, but i have scrolled up and down in all product category from crafting tab but i didn't see any antimatter housing. is this some kind of glitch? i've tried to restart my game yet the antimatter housing still not there. but the warp cell is there though

So you got your first wap cell? Have you loaded it into your ship? The mission should send you to the next system next and there it directs you towards where you can learn recipes for antimatter. Maybe antimatter housing was also only learned at the same time as antimatter. Maybe it's just the quest tracker not registering that you already have hyperdrive fuel?

Not yet, i can craft the warp cell with 1x antimatter housing and 1x antimatter. But the problem is i can't craft the antimatter housing and the antimatter to create the warp cell because they are not in the crafting tab, so i'm kinda confused

I eventually managed to buy the housing from the market or something, they had two in stock.

After hours of frustrated wandering I eventually discovered that for the antimatter, I had to go into the Log menu and manually reactivate the main story mission at the top by clicking on it. The waypoint that takes you to the antimatter is secretly hidden if you have any other mission activated. I got this waypoint from a communciations signal in space (possibly after buying the housing?), but it immediately disappeared and was replaced by the "Make Antimatter Yourself, ♥♥♥♥♥" mission, which I foolishly assumed to be intentional.

Edit: the antimatter and the housing recipe are both attained from that one main story waypoint.

Oh i've found the solution, so it was kind of a mistake in the quest navigation, what you have to do is make the hyperdrive first, after that you will be able to make the housing and get the blueprint antimatter from the trading post that you have to go to. hope that helps :D

You have to do a couple of warp jumps and the quest directs you to an alien who just gives you the blueprints, well thats what happened to me.

I've got a friend who is currently stuck with this. I've tried running them through every suggestion here and they still can't craft the antimatter housing. No amount of switching quests or reloading saves or changing planets seems to do anything.

yeah you don't have to follow the quest navigation, what i did was farm 250 copper and put them in refinery, and with other material (i forgot), i make the hyperdrive in my ship
