How do i remove Custom marker

i Set a custom marker but now i cant get rid of it
playing with a controller so would prefer to know how to do it with a controller if possible

well i found a kinda work around if you mark like buried technology then go dig it up it disapears but would be nice with a way to just remove it

I was able to remove one; holding down f, then pointing exactly on it and then holding down e. Sometimes before you can press e you have to also hold down the right mouse button a few times to zoom in closer.

I usualy mark my ship to remove the custom marker :D

This worked for me! I'd recommend anyone else having trouble to do the same.

There's an undocumented button on KB that you can use to unmark things, I've never gotten it to work though.

Never had a problem removing it. Just point at the custom symbol, hold down the same key used to plant it for 2sec, and no more marker. ***Just make sure you're on foot and in visor scan mode.***

This. Custom markers are deleted with the same key they're created.

I've accidentally created a couple and don't know what key I pressed to do it. One of them seemed to disappear on its own though after a rather long period of time.

Square/X/E

PlayStation/Xbox/Keyboard respectively.

You press the button to drop a custom marker with the visor open, not hold it.

You then hover over the marker in visor mode and press the button again to delete it. This only works for custom markers though.

The only way to clear marked points of interest is to visit them.

Just noticed that if you've set more than one marker, the next most recent one will appear once you remove the most recent.

On the PC it's easy. Simply hold F, point at the marker, press E and it disappears.

No idea about console but I imagine the remove will be the same combination as create.
