You have gtx 970? And run the game good?
Hey just real quick if u have this game, and you are playing it with a 970 and able to get acutal good FPS just real quick text down below here. I would really like this bc im locked between 30-40 fps for some reason. I already made a post about this : https://steamcommunity.com/app/275850/discussions/0/1762481957306822287/#c0
on this post there is a guy that commented that he also had a 970 and he was experiencing the very same. So if you have GTX 970 and are able to play this game with at least 50-60 fps stable, please comment down below :)

depends on your CPU and memory..

Weird, I have an ancient 770 and I'm still getting good performance. Is it an issue with the 970?

Yeah, right now it just really bad for me. The weird thing though is that my Fps doesnt change AT ALL when i change between the ultra settings and the very lowest
I'm playing with a 970 above 50fps 90% of time peaking at 90fps+ flying in space. In some planets it some times hit 40fps for a little time and at loads (leaving or enter a planet) it hits very low 15fps, but it is expected to hit low at loading.
I'm using blur and motion blur off (it was killing my fps and i don't really like motion blur), shadows and reflections at medium, textures high, anti-aliasing fxaa, vsync off, hbao off.

I have tried everything on the ingame settings, but sadly none of this changes anything to my bad fps. It doesnt matter if I have everything on ultra or if I have everything on the very lowest, it always stays between 30-40 fps :(
one note, NMS is a voxel game and as every voxel game out there it is very heavy on cpu and memory speed. I feel my old I7-2700 and my 1600mhz men are holding down my overall performance. I don't know what cpu/men you are using but maybe could be it.

I'm pretty sure my CPU should be good enough. Its an I7-6700 4 core

970 works okay, maybe not 60fps everywhere on planets, but in space it increases to the 100fps range on high settings.

Could be a 970 specific issue, I had that problem back when I had a 590. Maybe look around to see if people have had luck with older drivers

I've got a 970/i5-4440/8gb memory and can get mostly stable 50fps (i turned down the refresh rate to 50). I get occasional drops, mostly when entering a planet.

It's going to depend on what settings you're using. I've got textures on medium cause the 970 doesn't have the memory for high and it introduces stutter. Everything else off/medium or low. That said i haven't tried raising the settings yet to see if it makes it worse.

Turn of vsync in game and on in nvidia control panel. Also in control panel i have tripple buffering on, shader cache off, threaded optimasation on, virtual reality pre-rendered frames on 1.

There are also guides on how to edit your TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML file. Back it up first though because while some suggestion may work, others might make it worse.

I play with a GTX950 I have settings set to low, had 60-100 FPS last night. AMD FX4350 Processor, only 8 gigs of ram.
