Where do you find salt?

Salt is found in most abundance in resource nodes at random across all planet types when scanning from space you should find salt as a listed resoure this notes a deposit of salt is present on the planet

Also farmed ad nausium from youtube comment sections

Might also want to go swimming. A couple planets I landed on seemed to be lacking salt but if I went in the water and scanned rocks underwater a lot of them had salt.

Planets heavy on radiation sometimes have a fair amount of salt and chlorine that you can find as a primary resource in some rock types.

Or the lvl3 atlas pass rooms in staions with the plants, some of those will be salt.

Yeah, on a radiation planet now and the rocks that would usually be pure ferrite are primary salt instead.
