Sandworms...

Let's hope it comes in one of their smaller patches following this NEXT update. I would love to see some truly huge creatures. So far the biggest creature I've seen is a giant pineapple-turd with teeth and raptor legs.

Pretty straight forward solution in permadeath.

The moment a sandworm enters visual range (i.e. a safe distance) the ground starts rumbling like when you standing next to a large animal.

That should be your queue to GTFO. or build a terraformed platform, or jump on a building or vehicle. Have you guys not watched the tremors movies? geez.

Could be like "Mass Effect" the first one, where you really should be in a vehicle to take on the sand worms. Heck, maybe they are so strong you need to do aerial strafing runs.

maybe they only spawn after you kill so many little critters like sentinels? so many options.

BTW its after 2PM BST right? RIGHT??!

No, I think it's 2PM GMT, which will be 3pm BST. ie: 3pm GTM+1/BST

EDIT: To clarify, it's in half an hour's time.
