Void Egg map location lost

I had started the Void Egg mission, but when I got to the planet and started looking for the first Lat. Long. I had joined a friends game when I went back to the mission, the map marker was nowhere to be found in the galaxy map. The mission log says to find the marker in the galaxy map, but there's more than a few stars in that map.

as long as you find the right system then its just a case of flying down to a planet , and if you are on the right planet then the coordinates will re appear, if not then it will just say that its looking for a specific planet.

Also make sure that the quest stays active, if it changes then change it back.

This is untrue. How many times do we have to tell you this is untrue.

It works for some. But not all. Me and at least two other people checked every planet. It did nothing.

The way to fix this, is to edit the .json and change the BIO_SHIP quest progress in there.

So infact it is not untrue, it works for some, why do you say such lies? if t works for some then it is true, just because it dosnt work for YOU dose not mean it wont work for OP?? wtf So you know for a FACT that the op has tried this?? yes???

When I had went into my friends game, it jumped me to his world, but when I went back to my game I was still on his planet and system. I am unsure how to get back where I was, or remember which system I was in.

if you haven't been anywhere ells then the last locations will be saved to the starport teleporter Should be one of the top 2 starports on the list. Also your discoveries should be in order of discovered , again the second from the top as the top will be the one you currently are in.

No joy, I found my way back to the [Redacted] planet, but there is no longer and icon on the planet or system. When I land it still says to look for a marker in my galaxy map.

did you get back to your own place? Yea i guess we are all waiting for fixes, even if yoy did get the marker you'd probs not get the grave when that part comes. it might be best to just do something ells for now until its fixed. i too need parts fixing, i have no grave at the location , so i need to wait also :(
