Not getting Melody Of The Egg Quest

So I did the warps after buying the egg, got the communications and now... Nothing. I don't have the quest, and I don't know if I am even supposed to, but I really do not know where to go from here and could use some help

Forgot to mention, if it even matters, I got the egg when the Living Ship update just came out

On the galaxy map there is an alien egg icon showing you what system to go to. Once there hover over the egg and it will give you hints to what planet in that system you should go to. Then follow the coordinates on that planet.

I do not see an alien egg icon, is it beside a system?

After you buy the egg you need to pulse around the system you got it in, do not warp.

Or you may be stuck like I am, where later on in the mission it bugs out, tells you to go to a system and then when you get to the system the mission tag dissapears, and the mission tells you to find the tagged system, which there is none.

If you dont have the quest yet, you can buy another egg and pulse around that system, it should start it. Once you have the quest started though theres no resetting or getting a new egg that I can figure out.

Brain Leakage, what exactly did you do? I have this same problem: egg in inventory, pulse around the solar system, meet a living ship and get told I've received coordinates and I Have Not Received Coordinates. There's no mission popup, no notification text in the middle of the screen, nothing.

Did you check the galaxy map with the correct mission active?
