Space wreckage ?

Hi there ! I found multiple times a wreckage like a crashed cargo, just floating in space. I don't know what to do. I can't land on it and I don't find any entrance. Have you guys any idea of what to do ?

Same for me. Flew all around looking for something to do. Maybe just eye candy as someone else suggested.

i think its just cosmetic for now i hope they add more funtion to it in the future

Same. I flew inside landing bay but unable to land. I'm liking this update much more than the byte box.

I came across a derelict freighter drifting in space as well, and what was more interesting as I got close I was set upon by some pirates.. lol

Could of been that I was due for the random pirate scan, but it did seem coincidental.. :) But it does look cool to see this sort of thing and hopefully the expand on it..

yeah maybe you can land in the bay and explore the ruins and remains to get the story of the ship and loot cargo and scrap

Most time I've encountered the wrecked freighters in space I've been attacked by pirates, like 4 out of 5 so far.

After 3 times finding a wrecked freighter in space I tried shooting at it. That moment a ship came out and shot at me, but it had a blue arrow hinting to the ship, not a red one as the pirates have. I decided to escape and don't know what this was all about.

Try scanning it, maybe this does something. By reading the release notes I have the feeling that there is more to it than just simple decor.

You don't do anything with it, currently. Just look at it, wonder what to do with it, then leave.

1. The pictures and videos I have seen there seems to be a lot of astroids and crystals around the wreck. Has anyone taken a close at those?

2. Had anyone encountered this while in a living ship?

Hello guys, i just found one wrecked ship too and found a door with a destroyed panel. I destroyed it and there was a safe and some boxes.

We are almost definitely getting that soon. There were new items in the files that would require you to be able to.

Were you able to interact with them at all? I've come across a derelict freighter with this as well, but I couldn't find any way to interact with it aside from destroying the panels.

The Wrecks on planets have burried freight around them. Repair the crates get the loot and some radiation.

But here they talk about Wrecks in Space. I came here in my research to what to do if u find them in space.
