How do I remove a base wall?

I just got this game yesterday and started building my base but I cannot seem to figure out how to remove a wall I accidentally built inside my base? How can I fix that?

When you're in the "build" menu, hold down the CTRL key and you should see items being highlighted as you move the mouse. The highlighted one will be deleted when you left-click.

Strongly recommend that you start a game in Creative mode to experiment with building. Just find a planet with reasonable weather, drop down a base computer, and try stuff out. This won't be your "forever" base so don't spend too long looking for the perfect spot; it's just an opportunity to try out ideas and practice with base building.
