Largest Sea Monster in NMS?
Hi folks, just out of interest has any player reading this discovered any large sea monsters since the Abyss update. I have and is in my video attached below. I'm hopeing that there are more large fish out there to discover :) The one I discovered is @19.35 in the video as well as at the beginning, and it kicked my butt :) first time any how.

There are 2 types of creatures underwater: the ones that come with the Abyss update, and they include 2 horrors, 1 fixed and 1 mobile, then there are those creatures procedurally generated for underwater that were in place before Abyss already, and there are cute predators among them, Take a look at this one:

But to say the truth, I see more of the Abyss creatures than the PG ones now that I'm frequently underwater.

The abyss also added the exploding jelly fish that will some times appear when mining rocks.

I have yet to find any new scannable fauna.

I've found crabs walking around on the seabed on pretty much all of my home planet waterworlds.

I wish HG would have added even more variety to these various things. The sameness across all the planets is pretty obvious within a short period of time.

Don't know why they couldn't have added up to (10) new Abyssal Horror creatures and spawned them based on planet weather type or something.

Just to give some variety between planet biome types. They did this to a slight degree with some of the new plant and rock assets, but only providing (2) of those Horror creatures is kind of lame.

I quite agree GoldenGoose, more variety is definitely needed and I'm sure quite possible. I have also seen the crabs at the sea bed.
