whats the "several warps thing"? i warped about 7 times before i realised the mission path was just taking me to the core lol.

Hope that works out for you if you decide to try that route.
Are you sure you checked the X menu- it is a circle/ball looking icon. It just pops in based on where you place the aspect of it now similar to when you call your freighter.
It is a built in feature so I can't think of how you could even have the game open without that control.
Thanks so much! Think I'd found that, I've set the value of "Mission Progress" as everything from 1 through to 5, but nothing seems to have changed anything. Even what it says in the log seems to not change at all which is bizzare. I'm fully closing the game, editing, then reopening the save as well.
Might have to accept that I just can't accsess it using this save, unless i can find the bit of the JSON file that activates the ability to summon it.
So, using this save editor: https://nomansskymods.com/mods/no-mans-sky-save-editor/
and then going to edit, then "edit raw JSON data" or something like that, you can change the raw save file.
Scroll right the bottom, and there is an option called "HasAccessToNexus". change that from "false" to "true" and it's all sorted!
Thanks for the help folks.
