Batteries Not Charging?
They'll charge once, but after they're drained I can't charge them again. I also can't connect a solar panel to the roof of my base without wires anymore, which I'm certain I did when I first started building but now it's not working for some reason.

The batteries are connected to an array of solar panels, but they'll only work for one day cycle. I have no idea if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

I tested a small array to see if I'm doing something wrong and the numbers make no sense at all. My grid requires ~250kP and my panels are gathering ~500kP and after a single day cycle the batteries they're connected to won't charge. If I connect them directly to the tech (such as a portal), they won't power on.

I've read several how-to's and I'm positive I'm doing everything correct, so is this a bug or am I misunderstanding something?

I kinda had the same problem when i was first learning about wires, so far what i figured out and what finely worked is that i had to make sure that whatever i was powering, was being fed the right amount of electricity, Prefab buildings are the biggest power suckers, the basic building parts like wood, steel, concrete are the least...or zero. so if you have a building that draws to much, your batteries will go down very fast and stay down. I built a small city that took 57 electromagnetic generators,47 solar, and 45 batteries, just to have everything stay powered up through the night, the city was mostly prefabs and cuboids, i just kept adding till it worked. i'll post some pics

So I tried setting up an electromagnetic source but my wires randomly stopped connecting properly. As you can see, the connected battery and generator aren't connecting to the grid. I wasn't able to connect any new batteries to the grid so I disconnected and reconnected these to troubleshoot and ended up with this.
