No Man's Sky
Stuck spawned inside a wall in my base
When I teleported to my base, I spawned inside a wall. First time it has happend, and this wall is on the far side of where my base computer is, so I just don't get it. My problem is that reloading the save doesn't help, it still spawns me inside the wall. Actually it is beside the dooropening into a circular room. I am unable to remove the room and the door because of "player inside object". Any suggestions? I was kinda hoping there was a /stuck or /unstuck command, but so far no luck.

Can you build something directly below it, could push you down enough to do something like remove a part.
Use NMS Save Editor
1-select your savegame (make a backup just in case)
2-go to "Edit -> Edit Raw JSON"
3-select SpawnStateData
4-replace all the numbers from "PlayerPositionInSystem" with your ship position "ShipPositionInSystem"
5-Save the savegame and load it
You got 2 saves. One manual and one auto. Try the other one. Or do they both spawn you in the wall. The auto one saves everytime you exit your ship. The manual one you need to walk up to like a small tower(look like a smal cell tower) in bases to make a manual save. I always try to keep the manual save not to far behind behind the auto one. Therefore if i do something stupid or regret something. I'm not to far behind with the saves.

I try to keep the manual save updated, but this time I forgot...

Yeah, that happens. NMS Save Editor is a savior when you get stuck in walls or in mission orders. :)
NMS save editor... the fix all program? Can it make me cookies?
Craft a save point and place it in a normally accessible area within reach. Save it and load from the new save. Worked for me
I submitted a suggestion to the devs that they have us spawn directly in front of the teleporter when arriving at base.

I had a problem teleporting to the base I built on a high, narrow ridge: the image would jump and shudder as my character, my ship and the base computer all tried to occupy the same place at the same time, and I would find myself suddenly plummeting toward the ground at the foot of the ridge.

This was on my Permadeath save, so I really don't need that much excitement on the commute back to my home base.

Thanks a million! Following this procedure saved my character when I got stuck inside the roof of a trading post. I was a little worried about ending up underground or somewhere else inaccessible, but it turned out the game positioned me on a proper platform just above my ship. (The ship, BTW, failed to land on a landing pad as it should have.)
