so basically you just place multiple additional refineries after crafting nanites from platinum in the first refinery, and the game doesn't register that you've emptied the output bin, so you can continuously remove nanites without the output bins getting emptied.
I think he said he prefers to run missions rather than cheating, and that the glitch OP posted takes more effort than just running Cheat Engine (whatever that is).
Exactly
I bet this will be patched before everything else that needs fixing. :P
That is NOT "farming".
Also sharing exploits is not a great idea on steamforums iirc.
What they did was to work hard and meticulously to nerf each and every legit means players found to make money while having fun. At the same time, they did not fix squat, the game breaking bugs, many of them were untouched.
So, that's the logic: ignore the game breaking bugs and duplication glitches, and nerf every possible way players found to make way less money than by cheating. Hello games is one of a kind.
Probably you did not experiment with the exosuit upgrades, or you are not replacing your multi-tool, or even getting new ships added to your collection. All of this burns nanites in a nice way. Not that you need to cheat to get them, the legit way is still enough.
Because exploiting within the game mechanics is less cheating that using a 3rd party program.
This way one could even argue it might be a secret easteregg feature and not an actual exploit since the game is very much not within a realistic game universe and does have some funny features.
