Infected planet
Hi there, so i finally found this awesome looking infected planet with hexagons all over the place and decided to build a base there, but after flying around im starting to realise that the planet is dead and there no buildings like outpost, trading hubs or abandoned buildings.

So was i just unluky or is that on every exotic planet?

That's normal IME. You may or may not find hoops there, but they're for just a bit of lore at this point, or so I believe. Haven't found one in NEXT yet.
