Finally made it to Eissentam: the rumors are true
So, after a long journey in NMS (over 3000 hours), I have finally made it to the Eissentam Galaxy.

I have to say, it was a great first impression as the planet I spawned on had NO predators trying to kill me, and NO storms:

I started off on the journey in Eissentam as I normally do, headed towards the Galactic Core. Made quite a few jumps to a lot of star systems, and EVERY single system had at least one planet with great weather, and often times there were 2 planets in the same system with "refreshing breeze" or "balmy" weather.

After traveling through Eltiensleen to the core, the 9th Galaxy just prior to Eissentam, and finding less than 4 planets in over 700,00 LY of travel with good weather, I was never expecting Eissentam to be this good!

So, I decided to switch things up a bit. Instead of continuing to the Galactic Core, I made a U-Turn and started heading to the edge of the Galaxy, just to see what was there.

I kid you not, I traveled around 400,000 LY, in the opposite direction from the Galactic Core and must have made nearly 100 warp jumps and EVERY SINGLE system had at least one planet with great weather and no storms, most of them with no predators and little to no sentinal activity.

I pushed onward, and once I thought I was at the edge because there were no more visible stars in the galactic map at around 850,000 LY from the core, but just off to one side I could see a slight "flicker" of stars, So I continued onward.

Had to Zig-Zag around quite a bit, and I think I have finally reached the edge at just over One Million Light Years away from the Galactic Core. There are more stars visible in the Galactic map for a little ways further, but none of them are select-able:

Found a system with good economy and built a base on top of a trading post. I called the base "The Edge":

Here are the co-ordinates for anyone interested:

Good to know, I'm fine with Euclid, there isn't even a dozen of very nice planets per region, but it's already more than what my build limits can afford :p

I've got over 1100 hours and I'm in 8 galaxies
at 6 warped itself through the galaxy
and the others came through the Nexus via other player bases.
And to the next galaxy I could have travelled in the 200 to 300 hours without the quest shortcut which I never completed anyway and I didn't do the quest through the center because at that time you couldn't go back to the start galaxy and lose all your bases.
The 8 galaxies I have done only recently
needs about 2 days to cross a galaxy needs about 300 warp jumps for it.
So it is not a great art to travel to the next galaxy.

Eissentam actually gets boring. I went to a dead galaxy because of it, but it wasn't much change from normal, really.
I wish planets in uncharted systems had trading posts. They seem to be more interesting.

I think I'm pretty far away, but one of my other 2 bases may be closer.
So, Is this one OK?

To which I say to you, provided you are within that range, WELCOME TO THE GRE!!! If not, then please don't enter my territory without bringing a Venator-Type Capital Freighter, (that'd be either Resurgent, Imperial, or Venator Class of the Venator Design), or any non-capital freighter. DO NOT BRING A SENTINEL DESIGN, (That'd be Dreadnought, Battleship, or Sentinel Class Capital Freighter of the Sentinel Design), INTO MY TERRITORY UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE SHOT DOWN ON SIGHT!!! Or, if you do bring one of those Sentinel Design Capital Freighters through my territory, then at least make sure I don't see it! Thank you! And may the Force be with you. hi hi hi hi hi :D a fleet you can't beat *eg*
Eissentam - my home
btw. ATLAS stole the design from the Gek´s and copied it for his own purpose. He used this design because the defense of this ship type is much easier to do. the other types do have bigger weak spots. if you fight ATLAS then you should bring in this type of capital assault ship.
Ofc i'll visit GRE *g*

Eissentam is the best. And when did this topic turn into a freighter show off?

OH WOW!
My first visitor :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Sorry, but for my own personal sanity, I keep multiplayer features all turned OFF, but thanks for visiting my little base out on the Edge :)

Why MP Off you can set everything separately, even that you don't get any damage from other players.
I am also a peaceful human being NMS is not a shooter.
I have already visited many bases, some of them with the presence of the owner.
It's fun to meet each other.

Abandonned systems do... They are abandonned too.
