Does an active trainer affect multiplayer?

I use a trainer for resources during base building. I like to build a lot, so the trainer helps me to do that without having to mine a few planets worth of carbon. I don't normally have multiplayer on, out of habit over the crashing that came with Beyond when it was first dropped.

My question is, if I do have it on and somebody joins, will any active commands I have going through the trainer, like quick mining or easy crafting, affect them? I don't want to botch anybody elses game.

The same for mods. I have a few running, like one that makes wires nearly invisible, and another that makes my freighters defend me. Will anybody joining have an issue?

Honestly, if you are comfortable using a trainer, just use the NMS Save Editor to give yourself whatever resources you need. That would be easier and less likely to cause any problems.

cheatengine program is also an alternative

Sorry, I didn't answer your actual question, though. It is possible to create mods that affect other people, but you have to go out of your way, and none of the ones on the legitimate sites like Nexus will do that. Scripted commands for a trainer should be the same: no problem.

Thank you. Was worried about that. I'd hate for somebody to join and suddenly have 9k ferrite filling their backpack when they didn't want it.

hey, if HG doesnt give a crap about dirty cheating on a multiplayer game why should you ? just give yourself 1.000.000 residual goop, to to the nexus and transfer them to everyone possible.
