When Do You Get The Landing Pad Blueprint?

I have way over 100+ hours into this great game, yet I still don't have the ability to construct a landing pad. What's up with that? I've been doing the base terminal quests. Last tech BP I got was the oxygen generator.

It one of the last, if not the last.

Have you done the Overseer missions? Place either a cylindrical or a sqaure prefab building, build the construction terminal and follow the instructions from there.

I just build next to one anyway. No need to build one

Yes, I've done all of the Overseer, Weapons Technician, Farmer, Scientist and Exocraft guy missions.

You're just about there. I was pulling my hair out the first time getting really frustrated and angry and now I wish I had never learned it. I have FIVE landing pads at my main base and Im not allowed to use any of them. No matter where I land, thats where the npc wants to land. Drives me nuts.

There's a mod to fix that issue. It's called "Leave My Pad Alone".

Iirc the blueprint is acquired from the Base Computer Archives mission.

I dont do mods. I dont care if anyone else does, its your game but I dont. But thanks anyway.

Isn't it one of the blueprints that pop up in your menu without much of an announcement?

Have the same problem. Finished all the overseer and other quests days ago, still no landing pad blueprint. Overseer has me running around taking pictures as his daily quest. Any ideas?

Its given from the base computer upgrades, one of the last or actually last one.
(so not the overseer quest)

Base computer is tapped out, no more new blueprints. Must be a glitch. Hate to tear down my base/farm and try to kick start it all over again.

Try make a new base computer without tearing the current one down, i had a situation where i built a new base computer and the quest started showing me the new base computer as a quest giver instead of the old one and i was going back to old and wondering whatr the heck where is my quest. Also the quest needs to be actually selected from the secondary quest list to be able to get the quest from the base computer.
