Oxygen Rerouter, why so ronery?
Does this upgrade synergize with anything? It looks like it would get a bonus from placement beside life support upgrades, but nope. I'm working on my ultimate suit technology layout, and this is irritating me. And this upgrade is REALLY brokenly good for under-water survival. It uses your shield bar instead of oxygen meter when you run out of air, and if you have a bunch of shield upgrades it drains VERY slowly. You really have no practical fear of drowning at that point.

So, anyone know what it likes to be placed beside?

Probably due to the fact that it'd count as a new system, as iirc it's listed as an "Emergency Life Support System" and not a "Life Support Upgrade" or similar. Same thing happens with any upgrades to the Aeration Membrane (aka standard Oxygen meter); it counts as its own thing and hence doesn't synergise with either Life Support OR other upgrades that do similar (i.e. the hazard resistance upgrade modules).

Besides, with how broken it already is (sounds like it doesn't function like it's written, it's meant to drain Life Support, not Shields) it's probably for the best that it doesn't get synergy bonuses anyway. (Also, stuff that doesn't add stats won't really do much besides contribute to the synergy bonus of something adjacent that DOES add stats, e.g. jump jets and underwater jets synergise but neither do anything with that synergy, unlike other movement upgrades.)

That's my take on it. Doesn't like being placed alongside anything because it's kinda like the glove upgrade - does its own thing.

Uhm the oxygen rerouter is a blueprint -- it comes with the suit, you just add it first. Its just the first thing that gives your life support a couple more minutes of time before you start dying. I always put it on the second I find an oxygen tank -- at a minor settlement usually. It helps before you have the nanites to upgrade and the antimatter to add the second helper blue print to life support. Maybe after you have six S class life support modules it doesn't matter -- but it helps in the first few hours of the game.

Oh an T-rexes abound. Its funny before Abyss I always found these guys in all their variations on Desert planets -ONLY, but now, my god, they live everywhere. They even have a sort of velociraptor that hunts in packs now. YIKES, except it makes getting the predatory kills missions done fast -- they go down pretty quick with a boltcaster. But they will MESS you up if you don't fight them or RUN. LOL

Three systems at work.

Health + mods, connect, better health.
Hazard +mods. Heat, cold.. not connect.
Under water air +mods, connect air system.

Drain / Lose any, Health drops.

No, oxygen rerouter does not get any bonuses from anything. You can place it wherever you want too.

Ive tried this and short answer is NO

Aeration membrane
Oxygen Rerouter
and ALL Classes of Air Filter including "HyperPressure Air Filter" (S-Class)

Dont not get or give a bonus to anything. Other Hazard Protection and Even Other Life Support Systems Included !!!.

They should be in the Blue Group!

and why does our suits only have 14 tech slots!? I dont know about you all but im using another 24slots in Gen just for tech!
