How do I acquire Hexite?
I saw a recipe on the internet, stating Coprite makes Nanite Cluster. Problem is, it needs hexite too. How can I acquire that, because I have never seen it before, and I have quite a few hours in the game already.

Hexite was an old item from the first week of community events from the launch of the NEXT update.
To my knowledge, you can't acquire it anymore.

You can't. Hexite replaced Coprite for a community event a while back. I don't think you can even use Hexite in refiners any longer. You can still refine Nanite Clusters from Platinum or Pugnium. You can also cycle the Residual Goop you find in abandoned buildings. Residual Goop-->Living Slime-->Runaway Mould-->Nanite Clusters

You can't get Hexite anymore, it was from a Community Event.

Platinum refines into Nanites, if you need 'em.
That's awesome, thanks, I have a Coprite Farm now which is useless. However, it wasn't an irony, because you have helped me to get known to other ideas too.

The guild leader in some of the space stations still give out hexite as your arrival gift so its possible to still receive some.

Can confirm...this happened to me last week or the week before.

Just discovered with the 1.75 Visions release that you can use Storm Crystals to extract nanite clusters. At 50:1, its a pretty good deal, if you can find a hazardous world to collect them. Same applies to hadal cores and larval cores. Lots of choices!

The refiner is probably the least effective way to get nanites. Scanning and uploading will build inventory quicker. Missions and selling upgrade modules is another good way to generate nanites.

Yes, I fairly often get 225 hexite. I had no idea what it was but it sells pretty well.

Yeah, the "Hexagonal" or "Fractured" planets.

They look an awful lot like Mirrodin from Magic: The Gathering. An awful lot indeed.

I killed a critter on Hex planet and got residual goop. Next I tried on skeletal planet and got slime. This tells me its random, but I will keep trying until I see hexite again.
