The Exocraft Cannon on the other hand, while noticably improved from before and actually usable, still can't come close to a fully upgraded Multi-Tool; especially verses plasma grenades.
After the last major Exocraft update, I tested things out and liked most of what I saw. Everything got an improvement, but some things were still lacking; like the Exocraft Cannon, some of the movement controls, turret angles, and the sometimes glitchy follow camera.
But now you can climb cliffs! With the Colossus being the absolute king of hill climbing with the right suspension system (Drift Suspension adds to forward grip). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1528326615 Yes, I was able to drive up, stop in place, stand on the Exocraft, and pose at my leisure for the picture. That craft has the best grip out there.
Exocraft mining lasers are well worth it now, especially when fully upgraded. Having extra space to hold what you mine is really nice. Unfortunately by the time players get that far they, typically are really close to having access to easier ways of getting resources.
