There are many. It helps to find systems with 5 or 6 planets. Paradise planets are in all types of systerms so do not concetrate on red, green and blue stars. Some of the more interesting discoveries are arguably made in yellow stars.

I'm not certain but possibly your opportunities increase a little at the center of every galaxy. The galaxy I am in is a little more dangerous than Euclid but tranquil planets do exist. But you can find Paradise or lush planets or jungle type planets of all types from extreme to gentle.

I think the NMS wiki suggests which galaxies may hold more opportunities to find them but I heve visited a few and each galaxy offers equal opportunities to find them in my opinion, depending how you approach looking for them. It is so easy to get distracted.

Everything is biting me here at the moment but the scenery is nice!

I built a base on one. They exist...more common in Eissentam.

You maybe every now and then can join a random multiplayer game, perhaps looking for Paradise planets and often find the player (or players) you join are at their home base planets. They usually turn out to be quite interesting as the player decided to build a base there.

If you have trouble or think multiplayer does not show players, just keep click, click clicking. The server will always connect you. I have never had trouble not being connected maybe after a quick thirty or so clicks, something always eventually connects. Creative Mode often connects sooner but you can always mark a portal on any planet joined and then visit it in another mode.

I like how you built around a communication thingy. A+ on base building there. ;)

You put all that effort into going to "several" systems. You must be exhausted!

you've put an extra demand on yourself unnecessarily -- low conflict. The conflict level doesn't matter at all when you're on the ground. You can build a teleporter and teleport between the space station and your base -- BUT also, you can outfly the conflict every single time. There is no npc starshp that can fly as fast as a Radiant Pillar and they don't chase you that far. You don't have to engage the pirates at all -- they won't attack you. And if you run into a freighter battle as long as you don't fire a shot they won't involve you either. The only one that chases you "Hostile subspace scan" can't fly as fast as you. Drop the conflict demand you will find dozens of "paradise" planets -- which are also called, "verdant" "humid" lush and and a number of other things. If it says Star Bulb in the resources -- its a paradise planet.

And then you'll find out that there's almost continuous scorching rain on your "paradise" planet. :steamsad:

In that case one of my first planets was a "paradise" planet, although it had a crapton of carbon, it lacked in copper, at least "activated copper", there were copper deposits, but not enough copper in those deposits unless you found some on the side of a mountain. It didn't have any storms or harsh atmospheric conditions, and it was the planet I tinkered around on to learn the ropes, didn't see much use for it once I got further advanced.

Here I thought paradise planets was a planet type and not a general term for planets that have lots of carbon, personally I like planets with lots of salvage.

Unless we are willing to accept the Bible's definition of the word "paradise", it will mean something different to everyone.

Found a bunch of paradise planets but.... they have from paradise only the name. All those I 've found had hellish weather, landscape, fauna or sentinels when not all those at the same time. Now when I see paradise planet written in the scanner, I think to myself "wont waste time here, let's find a better place..."

Theres like 1 or 2 in every 6 planet system on average. Sounds like your just *really* unlucky. Seen one you seen em all though.

Paradise planets are good for scanning plants and animals, since they usually have a lot of them. And most likely a few nasty predators as well. I actually prefer desert planets or cold planets because the scenery is better.
