Blowing Up A Resource Depot.
In yesterdays Community Event I had the task of blowing up a resource depot. I tried 3 times to do this but it wouldn't register. I made sure the event was selected and also made sure that the whole thing was destroyed but still couldn't complete the task. Has anyone else come across this? Am I doing something wrong?

But some times fifth one container just refuse to blow up,even its health won' shown. You always can locate any other depot to destroy(like found through missions or by land vehicle,or by signal scanner).

you can find them with your signal booster, scan for secure frequencies -- thats what the instructions say when you have the thing highlighted in your log properly. thats how i do it. Im' not wasting resources bringing an exocraft to a planet for ten minutes of work to just leave the calling station there.

you know you can dismantle your summon station and get back all the materials, even if you're not in one of your bases ? :o

Work your way through the base quests, starting with claiming then building a base and then working through the specialists at their terminals. The exocraft terminal is the last one you're asked to build.
that is hell of a grind.

It's also pretty necessary, in order to learn the various blueprints, etc. The base quests are designed to gently introduce things while encouraging exploration.

just fyi, the person I was talking to there doesn't have the exocraft bp yet. BUT you're born with the bp for signal booster. So I was trying to help that person. -- the one that can't throw away mats on an exocraft hahaha

If you are beyond the agro distance of the sentinels they won't see to chase you, so you have plenty of time to aim. Just go beyond where the white flare (sentinel indicator) goes away. The sentinel will have a question mark over its head as you blow the pods away beside it. Since the armor level indicator appears for each pod, you can carefully take your time to point and check to see if it is still there for each pod. You can also use the zoom on your scanner if you still have trouble seeing it.

Oh hell no. That's no fun! Get in there with your scatter blaster and get intimate with those sentinels. If you don't take damage from the shrapnel as the barrels blow up, you're too far away. :steamhappy:
