Best resources to Sell
What are the best resources to sell (mainly as beginner). I have a large refiner. So far I have found Rare Metal Element made of O2 + Magnetized Ferrite.

Oxygen + Chlorine= Chlorine >.> 2+1 = 6 (Takes 45 seconds to do a stack of 250 and just have to keep refilling with oxygen)

Starts paying off when you build rows of refiners so you can fill more than 1 at a time (I do 6-8)

Note: Also sell to ship captains at trade ports or ones that land in your freighter as it doesn't lower the system price. I usually just do it in my freighter on the move. Have some at my ground base too though.

If you're asking for the fastest way to make units as a beginner, selling resources may not be the way to go. Ancient bones (new in the Visions update) are good, as are artifacts from Ancient Ruins.

I'd also recommend upgrading the scanner on your multitool, so your scans of planetary flora and fauna become more valuable.

That said, if my starting planet is radioactive and there are salt formations everywhere, mining and selling salt is all right as a way making tens of thousands of units from the very first.

Gold and silver are also quite good, if you can get at them . . . regarding which, have you tried putting in the refiner the ooze you can harvest from the terminals in abandoned buildings? Unless it's been changed in recent updates, the results are surprising.

Later on, after you have more recipes from raiding manufacturing facilties, you can make more valuable composits like herox and dirty bronze and lemmium . . . which can then be combined into even more valuable composites, and so on.

I've also just discovered that supply depots are much better than they used to be, as they yield resources that are really
The goo now makes...more goo. I think it was platinum or something before.

My advice is find frost crystal and make glass after you unlock the recipe from your base missions.
You need buried tech to unlock blueprints but it is a fast easy way to make some cash. But if your play style is to explore, nothing beats the fully upgraded scanner. Your getting paid to explore, and you collect much needed nanites for uploading those discoveries, which you need for more upgrades.
Collect Storm Crystals from Extreme planets. They help. Spot them best at night time.

Also do missions to find dig sites, or find crashed freighters, ruins to dig treasures and lost artifacts. You can now also scan and dig for fossils. All these are now very, very lucrative, some treasure upwards of 1.6Million for a single item sometimes. Also if you can get your freighter fleet going they can bring back many units without effort. Even if you have just one frigate at the start.

It is not as necessary to farm and mine solely to make units as the orignal game once was. Though it helps to collect recipes and farm or collect resources to make poly fibre and acid.
Always upgrade your scanner at every oportunity to its max, to earn upwards of 400K units per each creature scan later in the game.

There are many options to choose from even Trading goods which many haven't explored. Collecting underwater items too. Also your home base NPCs like the farmer and scientist can give you Lost Artifacts as rewards now, so collect their missions if you have time. :)

Fastest starting out, if you are nimble, is to mine larval cores. Abandoned buildings are plentiful and can be remined if you leave and return to the system. I typically get 1 million to 2 million units for a 5 min run. If you line several sites up, you could make up to 20 million an hour. Due to the built in time limitation on scanning, not to mention limited wildlife, scanning is useful fluff, but can't get your net worth up fast. Even later when you are farming, the time you take to process complicated high value commodities is so time consuming, I still find myself raiding for larval cores even late game. It's nearly as fast and more fun.

Also since the update there are less violent ways to make units fast: (1) old bones: they often occur in clusters (I guess to imitate the groupings of real fossils in the wild), so you can pick up 4 or 5 easily and on the right planets they are all over the place, (2) storm crystals: also massively profitable on par with larval cores... 5 million units in 5-10 min of zooming around during a planetary storm. Just be sure to fully upgrade mobility with 6 S-grade movement upgrades....it's generally useful anyway so it should be the first thing you upgrade.
Just starting out, fresh game, find caves and mine cobalt. Quickest, easiest, least painful way of making some fast units on any starter planet with a un-upgraded crappy exosuit and multitool, without having to worry about predators, weather, or sentinels. Usually there's caves close to a small trade station, lots of plants for carbon, so you can load your bags and dash in to sell, rinse and repeat. Make enough to get a bigger ship and a grub stake for trading fairly quickly, it's a bit tedious, but it pays off in the long run.

IMO...
once you get an exocraft, find an extreme planet with storm crystals. build an exocraft, with a mining laser. run around gathering di-hydrogen until a storm starts, then make a beeline for storm crystals (they are EXTREMELY obvious) until the storm ends. a stack of 5 storm crystals sells for around 700k-ish. The di-hydrogen is for frigate fuel. You will need a lot of frigate fuel.
Thanks for all your tips. Seems Chlorine works quite well. And got 43 Exosuit slots by warping around space stations so I can sell a lot at once. And I'll try soon the other tips too. xD

And if you repeat that cycle a few times it will yield something that's not goo or mould :-)
