WHERE IS NADA AND POLO?!
I havent played in a while (since Abyss dropped) due to University stuff. I hopped back on today and did the following:

Updated everything
Cleared shader cache
Uninstalled dead mods
Reinstalled working ones
Reset graphics and entered the game to find nada and polo are no where, ive jumped systems at least 30 times nothing.

Ive tried with no mods and it still doesnt work, my three active quests are 2 personal quests and 1 called the anomoly but it seems bugged because nothing shows on HUD. (Already submitted to Zendesk)

Any ideas?

Be sure to remove any mods - even recent ones. Additionally to what you have done, remove the 'cache' folder in your savegame folder and use the NMS Save Editor to take out mistakes from your savegame:
load your savegame in the editor, and chose 'save' without modifiying anything.
Be patient when the game loads after this, because shaders must be re-written from scratch which takes a longer time depending on your system. Once the game starts, save / quit / reload to have smooth FPS.

You must make sure to rename the DISABLEMODS.TXT that must be again in your game folder. Your MODS folder should be empty.
Then, it doesn't hurt to make a file integrity check in the Steam Overlay.

Yes, the Editor will also write a backup of your old save before writing a new one.

Once the game starts, be sure to save / quit / reload for performance reasons.

I did the following and it worked:

1. Remove Mods (place in diff folder for now)
2. Enter game, save and quit.
3. verify steam cache.
4. Reboot PC.
5. Open save editor, save changes without touching anything.
6. Open game and test if anomoly comes (mine did when i went into space)
7. Save and close game, reinstall mods.
8. Continue playing

If this doesnt work, best to Zendesk it to HG :/

Good luck!

Be sure to warp 4-5 times in NEW systems or teleport in a system where you know you'll meet the anomaly. The anomaly may have a time trigger too since your last visit, I'm not sure.
