Try warping in another system and watch the teleporter there.
Bases ought to be teleport targets even if they don't have their own teleport portal. Don't forget to claim the base by interacting with the base computer; it's not enough just to craft the base computer. If you see the "hut" (?) icon over the base computer then you should be good to go.
The sequence should be:
- your systems with active missions
- your last visited systems, with the appropriate base symbol or space station symbol.
Also, you can Filter what you are looking for. Ie: Bases, Space Station and I think Missions.
I just wish they would explain it tho. If anybody knows for sure what it is I'd appreciate the info. If there is something I need to do that I'm not doing then HG should say somewhere " hey if you don't do this then your base won't show up" but you think if you claim the base and build a teleporter that should do it. Also if just going to the space station is not enough then that should be explained somewhere. And the last system I went to I'm pretty sure I went straight to a planet built a base and it let me port to the local station even tho I hadn't even been there. I'm headed to the second core so I'm gonna do a little testing
From your report above we can only deduce that the teleporter is currently limited to show only 1 base per system. Can other players confirm this?
The teleporters do have that new function thingy to show only your bases, maybe switching it to only show your bases should help?
Also, it doesnt matter if a base even has a teleporter or anything els the others here have said, it should still show up in the list, might be that the game is limited with how many teleport options it can show in the list at once and randomly culls out locations that havent been recently visited.
If you have changed from experimental to live version things may get screwed-up, just an idea.
Does anyone else have more than seven pages of bases?
Also, it's delicate to ask you but: you say you didn't play MP, but in the past, did you play MP to go through another galaxy and have somehow 'cheated' to stay there and continue, have you? If you did it's well possible that your save file now contains messed-up entries for your bases which will not show in teleporter or result in the above 'non existing' if you go there.
I don't think that if the teleporter has limits in what he can contain this would make your bases disappear unless it's a big bug, in which case others will soon join the party and post it in the Bug section or here in the general discussion.
