Can I turn off alexa?

This female-robot voice telling me "units received", "item constructed" and "no more free slots in suit inventory" is pissing me off, make her go away! It's useful when you may possibly forget about an atlas point or something, sort of, and not sure what's going on when the map takes control away from you to show it to you, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, seeing the crafted component and it making a sound effect is enough, the voice doesn't need to comment on that!

in one mission a character explains she ripped off her speakers from the helmet because of noisy voices ;)

Can you do it within the structure of the game? No. Can you do it with a mod? Yes, there is a mod for that.

You can talk to Alexa, betty just doesn't listen.

I think she sounds like Alexa too.

Not that it's helpful, but I just turn off the sound in the game and play music instead. One good thing about the game is that every single thing you might need to care about has a visual cue onscreen.

Also, the game has two kinds of sounds, impressive and annoying, and even the impressive ones get old pretty fast.
