Remembrance in next
So, got the Atlas Pass v3 a time ago, and I just finished the storyline and Atlas path, however, I still miss this upgrade, does anyone have an idea of how to get it?

Manufacturing Stations I assume.
That's where I've been "farming" recipes the last day.

Ok so. the remembrance is a tech module. you craft and install it, when installed it lets you access and read the data consoles. now I don't know what this is actually for yet, because with the seed and remembrance installed it only does a diagnostic that repeats at every terminal. but have built them. basically the seed building process in your craft technology lists. starts with the NANO thing and you keep upgrading it through the heart of the sun etc.

I was excited at first because I thought it would give a way to go to previous iterations, so like get to go to previously visited Galaxies, however so far.... just a bunch of diagnostic nothing.

I also wanted to add that I am pretty sure I learned them when I got to the end of the Atlas path where you can choose to reset or keep exploring.

When I’ve used Remembrance on otherwise restricted terminals - in Atlas Rises and in NEXT - the diagnostic reveals a small slice of the deeper lore of the game, including some dark hints about who the Travellers are.

I think that’s the main function of the artifact, to help “you” - your character - remember where you came from.

Pretty expensive crafting for some silly hinted at lore, that gets explained already in the Atlas line. If there is ANY useful thing these can do I would like to know it.

Curious, I finished the ATLAS line and only got the seed, do you have to reject to get the remembrance?

I don't think so. it was just in my tech, along with the seed, not really sure when I got it but think it was that first time I full opened Atlas, and yes I chose to keep exploring but then eventually came back and did the reset. I had to craft it like the seed but in a Tech slot like adding a Suit upgrade.

I am not sure if I got it after the reset, you might only get the rememberance after the reset or a galaxy switch. dunno.

I started with NEXT, so this might b a possible reason, got the seed installed and the atlas path finished

If the consoles still say remembrance required error, try checking in your installable techs, you may just have to build it again. like the heart of the sun is a required component to make it. so captured nanode, built up to heart of the sun, then look in installable techs to see if you can install it in a suit or tech slot.

Remembrance comes from the Artimis quest line, not the Atlas quest line.

Ah. Yup, that would explain it.

The Purge - Reset the Simulation quest. 16th jump (ATLAS Sequence:16/16), go through the portal and talk to the Atlas to get the Remembrance blueprint.

Other than the lore, and it is repetative, how do you move the atlas path after a reset? it only wants me to seed new stars...

That's the end of the atlas path, no more to do after birthing a star and getting star seed tech.

I struggle to think they spent so much time building the sites with a "rememberance terminal" just so it could say stupid repetative lore things. I have a nagging idea that they may in some way allow you to travel like with portals but to other Iterations or some odd thing. I am pretty convinced there is some other cool thing about the 2 Techs, because they take up tech slots and resources to make, and in the END game realm, so loads of work to get them, and for what? some crusty jokes about how the atlas lore developed? someone knows... surely someone has figured out why there are terminals everywhere land and space, and these things uses.
