Can't leave Space Station!?!?!?

Left first planet and headed for planetary coordinates after getting communicator message. On the way, I passed a space station and decided to stop in. Now I can't get the hell out. I can get in and out of my ship, but pressing 'W' just gets me a *beep*.

Did you hold down W rather than just tap it? If you did hold it down, then it may be a bug. You could also try rebinding your launch key and try it then, may or may not work.

I held it for 2-3 seconds and nothing happened but the beep. Then I tried holding it longer and it works after a few more seconds. Thanks!

Did you run out of gas??? Check Google for the nearest gas station. It sould be several thousand galaxies away.

I had the same problem. It is a bug it seems - sometimes it works, somtimes you have to leave the ship and reenter it until you can use W to start from the space station.

sounds like your ship is damaged to me, did you fly in on a crashed ship, scrap it and now are in your old damaged ship??
check if your ship needs fixin

Having the same issue. I can't leave the station....Ship is not damaged, fuel is full, Been playing for over a week, I know the controls...but it won't let me leave the station.
