Loud sounds on some planets?

I've noticed quite a few times now, but after being on some planets a while, I start to hear these sounds, like animals. But they don't come from a specific direction, like with actual animals. Instead they sound like it's echoing throughout the planet. Sometimes they get super loud. It's kinda creepy. I'll just be mining some Cobalt and hear a loud "bbbrrrllooooo" echoing. It sounds like some giant animal, or some kind of sea animal using echolocation. Anyone experience this too? What the hell is it?

No freighter nearby.. It really sounds like an animal. Like a huuuuge animal, loud enough to echo throughout the whole planet.

I have yet to SEE anything though... just lots of weird noises
