How do I unlock the landing pad?
I haven't got through all the blueprints yet, finding all that salvaged tech is a long process.

But, from what I've seen online, you unlock the landing pad through the construction overseer quests.

I've got to what I think is the end of the quests because he keeps asking me to take pictures of certain worlds but I've not got the blueprint.

Am I missing something or has it bugged out?

Probably as bugged as everyone else. I am stuck without living glass recipe, have no landing pad, plants or storage. No quests from NPCs.
you get it almost at the end of the base archive quest not through the blueprint analyzer nor the specialists.

storage is partially unlocked via overseer quest and base archive quest.

The landing pad is awarded when your base computer hits 98% recovering the files.

Be warned, several people have reported the final step of this quest is bugged. Nothing happens when going to another system to find the final location. You might want to back up your save file before triggering the base computer again after you get the landing pad.

it's not "nothing happens" its more you get a random upgrade module and the quest cycles, it doesn't end the quest

i could fix that bug by deleting my old base and building a new one. I believe the bug happened on my game because a friend of mine placed his base computer way too close to mine.

Thanks very much. I'm only halfway through the base archives quest.

I was sweating thinking I would have to make a new game because it was bugged. Almost 60 hours in.

Need more info. I got no upgrade. There was no planet to visit when I warped to the targeted system, just a notice that the target was in another system. No planet in the system had a broken terminal and no new target in the warp map.
One thing that I'm getting a lot are bugged missions. At least seems that there is always a way to fix it, by reloading, restarting, going to another area and mostly checking for fixes that others may had found.

I'm current "unbugging" the base quest line. Cause I had this quest for a very long time that I need to check the base computer. Thing is, my main base computer did not had the option for it. Building another base did not did the trick, and going for the quest icon, it just send me to a point at the space near a planet that the area was reflecting the galaxy map. Pretty weird.
Thanks someone here suggested to make a base at a planet of that solar system. Now the quest was requesting X hours to complete some diagnostic so I can use the computer again. I'm waiting to avoid other issues.

Some of quest bugs happens because you already have some items in the inventory and the quest just skips some steps. The problem is when it require a stack of such items, but the quest info don't show it, cause you supposelly completed.

My galaxy map had a "Deliver Good" icons stuck in a solar system, despite that I have no mission for that. My guess is that I had 2 delivery mission that completed at once, and the game didn't count it.

How are you guys getting blueprints from the computer? Is this the same computer that lets you rename the base? Because I don't get anything from it besides Rename, Upload, Delete, and Leave.

It's a quest line you unlock at
some point?
sorry i'm not actually totally clear on when you unlock it but at some point after having it long enough you'll get told to go back to your base computer. So unless it's bugged out it'll come eventually.

You need to have the mission selected. And if not pointing out to the current base computer, then you need to find where it is, and if need building another computer at the solar system that is indicated.
