can you spawn items through a console in normal mode to compensate for the BS glitches?
i have now twice lost practicly EVERYTHING by duying to stupid glitches.
first time was when i was playing with a friend and jumped my freighter into his system which spawned me inside a freighter in deep space to die.

second time i shot missiles at a friend a little too close and instead of just doing a bit of splash damage it just instakilled me...

therefore i'm wondering if there's a console or some other way to revert my items back to me that was wrongfully lost. i honestly don't want to spend another 2 hours trying to regain glitch losses...

Doing things that are not supposed to work or shooting high explosives at to close a range are NOT Glitches....

first of, with freighters there is nothing saying that you can't have your freighter in a system where your friend is in. it even gives you the option to warp in your ship from the freighters warp panel. hence it is a glitch. the result is then that you spawn outside in open space inside a frieghter (not inside where you are supposed to be but some inside the freighter model in space)

secondly. sure i expect the splash to deal some damage in return. what shouldn't have to expect is for that splash damage to kill me instantly in one shot with full ship health and full shield. especially with the heavely reduced friendly fire that's in the game.

Is there not an option to go back to a previously saved game ?? If I die thats what I would do, go back to a sved game before you died.

I feel you man, i died so many times because of stupid stuff, like falling to my death countless times because i run out of jetlack fuel, or getting launched into the air because i did the punch jet thing too good which sent me flying so fast over a hill and onto my death. Or falling off the frigate you wanted to repair and freeeze to death.

But i do know there is a save editor use that.

You can do that with manual saves, but you can only have one.

Maybe you shoulfd try figuring out to play the game... Just a thought... This game is NOT hard...
If you know how to play it...

no because ofc the game overrides the save file the moment you die. this is fine when you die for legit reason. but none of the reasons mentioned above are reasonable reasons to loose your stuff nor is it intended for that to happen.

so even if the latter scenario is a leigt death, it's a stupidly unreasonable one considering the damage you take by other means. having player shot rockets deal upwards of seaming 4000% extra damagecompared to other means (pirates, colisions, sentinels etc.), to the players ship. that is simply absurd.

I know it's not that hard i just died of stupid stuff which i stop doing, except the falling deaths seems like gravity is my biggest enemy. But i do know how to play don't be too pretentious.
manual save comes in clutch and saves the day. had a manual save 15min prior to the bs. still wished i didn't have to deal with that to begin with though.

if multiplayer dissallows two players or more to have their freighters in the same system, disable all means of getting them into the same system. it's as simple as that.

and then rebalance rockets splash damage so it doesn't instagib the player if they hit themselves. it's fine, considering their firepower, if they take down the shields (or some of it depending on the ship's shield strength etc.). But it shouldn't instakill the player if they hit themselves with it.
