Pyrite deposits fake?
I'm on a dessert type world with Pyrite deposits I've now been to two such marked spots on the map that claim are pyrite deposits and yet when I blast the area I get absolutely nothing. I have two slots open in my inventory so I'm not out of space and it's not giving me any error message anyways. What is going on?

Pyrite is called foul's gold IRL ;) maybe you've found an easter egg? :) planted there by HG developers :)

Is a bug, with probably every type of deposit, sometimes you go to the marked spot, but there is no deposit.

happened to me with copper and silver, so yea, just happens on certain locations

Just a bug. I've found plenty of pyrite.

Pyrite is used to charge pulse engines.

Looking at this picture i can see why, ive also come across many resource veins that vary in amounts you get when you mine it, its just a case of scanning further up somewhere and hope its a bigger vein, some give you a few chunks some that give you almost 250 stack. best pyrite ive found is on desert worlds as you know like my screenshot. i dont go after pyrite much tbh i use tritium instead from asteroids.
