Too Many Ringed Planets
Hate to sound like a whiner lol but does anyone else feel like we've gone from "wow, there's a ringed planet!" to ringed planets being common-place or even too common?

NMS is a visual experience and it would be great if certain things were rare so we could be struck with awe when we see them.

Same goes for visuals on planet surfaces. Too many with blue skies/white clouds. Would be good if we had more of a mix of colours of these to enhance the visual experience.

Last I looked, in our universe, I think we now have a ringed moon here and what would look like ringed stars out there,.

Yeah I guarantee it's accurate too. Plenty of real planets have rings

Gas giants all. :steamhappy:
Well, our solar system has 4 ringed planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune), and eventually Mars will too after gravity crushes the moon around it into bits. They are very common in the galaxy and other things like moons and brown dwarfs have been found to have rings as well.
Have you seen elite dangerous?. It has a ringed planet in allmsot every system.

I disagree.

I like the ringed planets and always look forward to exploring them. The problem is not how many planets have rings, the problem is the OP and everyone else here who thinks there are too many ringed planets not realizing that in this game we are exploring many, many solar systems vs the fact we can barely explore one IRL. Based on our own solar system, every system should have at least one planet with rings, which is pretty much what we see in game.
If we look at our own solar system, and make a hypothesis that it is a reflection of other systems in the universe, it is very possible that half of all planets have rings.
I have 103 hours in Steam on two save files with probably at least 2/3 of that in game time (thanks to the stupidly long loading time) and have not seen a single ringed planet yet...
There's literally a post saying that they have found no ringed planets going around now too.
