Tips for early game?

I'm new to this game and having a hard time getting into it. I keep spawning on deadly planets and die within a couple minutes to heat or rads, and if I manage to survive that, I accidentally ♥♥♥♥ off drones and they forever try to kill me and I'm unable to do anything. Any advice would be nice!
