Scan ten plants for 50K+ units? Works for me.
Kill ten creatures for a few items worth 100K+ units? Sure, why not?
And the best part is you can have more then one mission at a time so you can really pile on the rewards.
Buy 1000 ferrite dust+600 oxygen (cost~40K)
Craft 20 antimatter housing
Sell housings on GTN (for~120K)
Repeat until GTN runs out of one of those commodities
Take portal to another station
Repeat until bored
Never harvest for resources planetside ever again, just buy all you need from now on. It's now that the game begins, you are free. Free to explore the universe on your mobile base.
Yes, use your scanner when near the ruins
There is also the abandoned building location with millions worth of credits in those egg things. Just drop and jump from the roof down one at a time. The ruins mentioned by others are hit and miss. Usually you'll get 130 - 200K seed things. The more profitable items are rare.
Personally I've been doing everything. It's more fun to just let things organically play out instead of pursuing credits like crazy. The base quest lines are actually pretty fun.
